March Ministry In Brazil

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

On February 28, my wife Sheri and I leave for an eleven day trip to Brazil.

On this trip, I’ll be teaching in churches in three different cities, as well as being the main Bible teacher at the Calvary Chapel church-wide conference at the Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Campo Mourao, Parana. During the conference, I’ll have the privilege of sharing with Calvary Chapel pastors that are in attendance from all over Brazil. Sheri will have opportunities to minister to the pastor’s wives and other women in ministry.

We’ll fly from San Francisco to Lima (Peru), then catch a connecting flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil … followed by a short flight to Londrina in the state of Parana. We’ll be staying in a city called Santo Antônio da Platina for four nights. We’ll be sharing in churches in that city, teaching itinerary TBD.

From Santo Antonio da Platina, we’ll take a bus to the Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Campo Mourao. We’ll be there for at least four more nights for the conference, then on to Curitiba, where we’ll stay at the home of Pastor David Dawson and his wife Kati. We’ll be teaching in that fellowship, Igreja Vivendo em Cristo (Living In Christ Church). After a couple of night in Curitiba, we’ll head back

Please pray for this trip. Any and all prayer support we can get will be needed and welcomed. This trip was actually scheduled early in 2010, and it’s been one I’ve been anticipating for some time. When I served in Brazil in 2007, I made some lifelong friends and developed a deep appreciation for the Brazilian people and the needs of the church in the country.

If you’d like to contribute financially toward the trip expenses, please make out your check to Poimen Ministries, and attach a post-it note to the check with the words “Holdridge- Brazil.” You may send it to:

Thank you for reading, and for your support and prayers.

In Christ,

Bill Holdridge
