President Obama Peace Prize

obamaI logged on to an internet news source this morning only to be blasted by the news that U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama has won the Nobel Peace Prize for the year 2009.

I’m shocked.

Former U.S. President Ronald Reagan never won the Nobel Peace Prize, in spite of the fact that his leadership caused the former Soviet Union to drop to its knees, and forced the Berlin Wall to come down.

Amazingly, Mikail Gorbachev did win it.

Barack Hussein Obama may indeed prove himself worthy of this award at some point in the future. Hopefully, he will do just that. But even seasoned observers of the Peace Prize process were shocked that he won it so early in his presidency.

It shows me how quickly the world can rush toward wholesale acceptance of a man. Does this ring any prophetic bells for anyone reading this?

Well it seems a little early to know if he is paving the way for the antichrist but it is obvious that he is well received by the non Christian, America hating world. Did you hear that the nomination was 11 days after he took office. Talk about jumping ahead things!! It seems like there has to be a spiritual power at work behind a man who can rise out of obscurity with no real accomplishments or credentials and become the U.S. President and “leader of the free world.”

It was the prayers of Russian Christians that brought an end to the Soviet Union.

    Very true.

But we must not forget that the Lord removes and sets up kings, and works in the nations to accomplish His own will. In answer to the prayers of Russian believers, the Lord raised up a strong U.S. military under President Reagan’s leadership.
